The Sports authorities of Sri Lanka plan to introduce some drastic changes in the managerial ranks of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), which is tumbling with corruption allegations and financial crunch. This move is aimed at improving the standard of cricket in the island.
SLC is under fire after media reports regarding alleged embezzlement, demanding an overhaul of the cricket governing body in the country.
Adding insult to injury, the board recently lost important data records of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 as the hard disks containing the records were stolen a few days back.
Moreover, the current management of the board has not been able to perk up the standard of the domestic cricket.
