Sri Lanka Women v West Indies Women - West Indies Women tour of Sri Lanka - 4th T20I – Live Score and Update
West Indies Women 101 (19.4/20 ov) v Sri Lanka Women 102/6 (19.3/20 ov) - Sri Lanka Women won by 4 wickets (with 3 balls remaining)
On Thursday, 07 Match, hosts http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 won the fourth T20I in the ongoing series against West Indies by four wickets while chasing a target of 102 runs at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.
After winning the toss, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 chose to bat first but lost their first wicket with only ten runs on the board as opener NY McLean found her way back to the pavilion with only four runs to her name.
Then with only 18 on the scoreboard the tourists lost their second wicket on the dismissal of DJS Dottin, who was removed by Kaushalya after she had hammered only 13 runs off eight deliveries.
In the middle-order, JW Ogle-Thomas and skipper SR http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Taylor-c92915 tried to forge some resistance which was short-lived as the partnership could take the score to 37, before the former perished on run out after scoring six runs.
The skipper was then joined by Kyshona A Knight, but she could also make only six runs before finding her way back to the pavilion. At the time of her dismissal West Indies had managed to post 58 runs on the board.
The wickets just kept tumbling as the batting side suffered another loss on the dismissal of SF Daley, who left the crease after scoring only three runs.
The skipper was then the next to hit the showers when she was removed by Prabodhani after smacking an innings of 40 runs off 33 deliveries.
It was then complete chaos for the Windies who kept losing wickets at random consequently succumbing with 101 runs on the board.
From Sri Lanka, HASD Siriwardene was the best bowler with three wickets to her name.
The Sri Lankans needed a steady start to their run chase but were put on the back foot on losing their first wicket with only 15 runs on the board. However, this was a difficult story for the hosts as they comfortably reached the target winning the match.
