Sri Lanka cricket team likely to undergo a major overhaul ahead of Australia tour

Since his appointment nine months ago, the Sri Lankan team have yet to win a series under his captaincy. In their ongoing tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Africa-c757, they lost the three-match Test series 2-1, while they trail 3-0 in the five-match One Day International series.
The report also added that the national selectors are also under the scrutiny of the board, following the abysmal performance on their South African tour.
The report was published just two days after the Ministry of Sports in Sri Lanka directed a probe into the Sri Lankan team’s “crisis situation”.
Mahindananda Aluthgamage, the Sports Minister of Sri Lanka, has ordered the cricket governing body in the country to investigate the reasons behind the recent poor results, and to also recommend remedial actions to stop the losing streak.
"Carefully investigate the current crisis situation in the national cricket team and report back to me within a week," Aluthgamage had said on Tuesday.
Last week another Sri Lankan Minister had slammed the national team and questioned the fighting spirit of the team, stating that the lack of a fight was the reason behind the series of losses.
