Sri Lanka name preliminary squad for World T20 Championship – Cricket News Update
Cricket Sri Lanka on Thursday named its 30-man preliminary squad for this year’s World T20 Championship, to be played at their home venues in September.
The Islanders have retained all of the players who played in the home T20 series against Pakistan last month. USA-born left-handed batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Jehan-Mubarak-c66822, who has not donned Sri Lankan colours since 2009, has been included in the 30-man
provisional squad for the esteemed tournament.
The 31-year-old left-hander, who has played 38 One Day Internationals and 16 T20 Internationals, last played for Sri Lanka in a 2009 World T20 match against Pakistan, at Lord’s. Colombo-born leg-spinner Kaushal Lokuarachchi, who made his

The two uncapped players included in the 30-man party are wicketkeeper batsman Kushal Janith and Akila Dhananjaya.
All the participating boards have submitted their preliminary squads with the ICC World T20 Championship organizing committee. Squads trimmed to final 15 should reach the organising committee by 18 August.
The fourth edition of the World T20 Championship kick starts at Hambantota, on September 18. Total 12 teams, ten full member and two associate nations, will compete in the mega event. The teams have been divided in four groups of three.
