Sri Lanka amassed 327 runs in their fourth group match of the ICC World Cup 2011 against Zimbabwe played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Sri Lanka.

The mammoth partnership was eventually broken in the 45th over, when Tharanga got out in an attempt to clear the ropes. The promising left-hander had done his job by scoring a brilliant 133 off 141 balls. His innings included 17 fours.
Dilshan followed his opening partner, as he got out just six balls later. The flamboyant batsman scored 144 runs from 131 balls. He smashed 16 fours and a monstrous six.
After the fall of the openers, none of the middle-order batsmen was able to score big. The hosts lost 4 more wickets in an attempt to carry on the assault, but failed to do so.
Kumar Sangakkara managed to score 11 runs off just 7 balls, and he was unbeaten until the end. He was supported by Thilan Samaraweera, who was unbeaten on 8 runs from 7 balls.
