The Sri Lankan side is set to take on Ireland in the opening One Day International (ODI) game of the Tri Series scheduled to take off on Monday, July 11, 2011. The fixture will be staged at the Grange Cricket Ground, Reaburn, in Edinburgh.
As the two teams gear up for the bout, the tourists hope to make a strong comeback after facing a recent defeat against the English side during the 5 ODIs tournament.
The Lankans were defeated on Saturday’s decider that resulted from a stalemate on the tournament’s ranking table.

Monday’s game comes as the opening fixture to the tournament with weather conditions offering slight probability of rain.
