Sri Lanka thrashes South Africa to level the series – Cricket News Update
The Sri Lankan cricket team created history when they beat South Africa by 208 runs, in the second game of the three Test match series played at Kingsmead, Durban.
The visitors showed great resilience in this game and bounced back strongly to level the series, after the hosts easily defeated them in the opening fixture by an innings and 81 runs.

The duo refused to go down easily and put on a 99-run stand. However, despite all their efforts the hosts still came out second best.

After receiving the award, Herath said, “Very happy with the way we played. A great moment for Sri Lankan cricket. So happy, this is unbelievable to win in South Africa! There was something in it for the spinners, so I knew I would get a lot of overs. The

The series is now wide open and it is all to play for in the third and final Test match of the series. It is going to be a winner takes all at Cape Town. The Test commences from Tuesday, January 3, 2012.
