played at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.

the Lankans had posted 76 runs on the board for the loss of two wickets.

The Aussie bowler then annihilated the Sri Lankan lower batting line-up as he took six wickets in the game leaving the Lankans devastated. It was only the brave innings by Suraj Randiv which helped the Sri Lankans reach a tally beyond 150 as the batsman
clobbered 41 runs off 50 deliveries before falling prey to Johnson.

Johnson was named as the man of the match for his brilliant bowling as he helped the side overcome a formidable Sri Lankan batting line-up.
The two sides will now face each other on 14 August, 2011 in the second match of the series at Sooriyawewa, Hambantota.
