http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 - 1st Twenty20 - Australian Batsmen to watch out
The first T20 between Sri Lanka and Australia takes place today, August 6, 2011 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. The day and night affair will be a closely fought encounter as both sides have the star-power to make this an entertaining affair.
It will be tough assignment for a rejuvenated Aussie line-up under the captaincy of Cameron White, as they will be playing their first T20 game in Sri Lanka. Hardly any of the squad members from the Kangaroos team have played under these conditions, so it
will be a test for everyone, batters and bowlers, to perform well.
As far as the Australian batting contingent is concerned, they surely have plenty of depth and quality at their disposal.

An explosive-opening batsman lit the T20 stage by his extraordinary debut against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045, he is sure to be the danger man upfront.
Warner has plenty of T20 experience, having played in over 100 matches, including a stint in the Indian Premier League, with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Delhi-c780 Daredevils. In 25 Internationals, he has scored 706 runs, averaging just under 30.

Arguably the best all-rounder in cricket right now, the 30-year-old will be hoping to do much the same, hitting the ball to every corner of the ground. He has been the most consistent performer for his team in all formats of the game.
As far as the T20 stage is concerned, the right-hander has played in 20 Internationals, scoring 455 runs with a highest of 81. The tall Australian will be hoping that a good showing at the shorter format of the game will keep him motivated for a much bigger
task ahead.
Also, a medium-pacer, his all-round ability makes him the ideal player, who would fit into any team.
Camerson White
The skipper will only have 2 Twenty20s to convince the selectors that should be in the reckoning for the longer haul, rather than being a bit-part player. Recently axed from the limited overs squad, he made his views public and later criticized the selection
committee.
Although his talent can never be in doubt and at 27, still has plenty of time to prove his true worth to the Australian board. For now, he will be hoping to lead from the front and get some runs under his belt, which would certainly lift his confidence.
A healthy average of 30, he will be hoping to emulate the 49 ball 85 that he scored against the same opposition In May last year.

The younger brother of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lions-c808 on their home turf but the fiery character will be all geared up for a challenge.
Having played in 155 domestic matches all around the globe, the aggressive batsman is among the few to score a 100 in the shortest format of the game. His importance can be guessed from the fact that he currently stands as the second most expensive player
in the IPL after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DPMD-Jayawardene-c1397.
