A rejuvenated Sri Lankan contingent outshined India in the 8th match of the Commonwealth Bank series, played at Brisbane Cricket Ground on Feb 21, 2012.
India, in their run chase of 290, suffered a top-order collapse, and folded their innings on 238 in 45.1 overs - giving the Islanders their second consecutive victory.
After thrashing http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 in their last match at Sydney, The Lankans produced another all-around performance to leapfrog over their opponents into second, on the points table.

trio failed to assert any sort of dominancy, and fell cheaply.
