Sri Lanka vs New Zealand – 4th ODI – Toss Report
Sri Lanka have won the toss and their skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 to bat first under cloudy skies, with the fourth ODI shortly commencing at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium, Sooriyawewa, Hambantota, November 10, 2012.
Mahela’s decision was again influenced by the overcast conditions, despite admitting that the track is a good batting wicket. He however, was reluctant to put his side under pressure if the Duck-worth Lewis method comes into play. He praised the batting
contributions of the top and middle order in the series so far, and is hopeful that the boys can win the game today.
"The weather looks very scary and we don't wan to take any chances. We are not sure how much overs we will get in the game. The lower middle order is still not done well, but as long as we get the job done, it is ok."

“We would have like to bowl, but we have to find a way to win. There is nothing to lose, hopefully the weather will allow the game. We have bowled up front. BJ Watling has been brilliant at the top of the order and we need to all support him well."
The pitch report suggested that the track contains plenty of moisture, owing to the overnight rain. Nonetheless, evident dark patches and some grass gives the bowlers much-needed hope.
The start, though, is expected to be delayed due to rain.
