Sri Lankan skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DPMD-Jayawardene-c1397, has won his second toss in a row and his team will be batting first in the 2nd ODI, shortly commencing at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, on June 9, 2012.
Jayawardene was wary of his team’s batting displays but has decided to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Adrian-Roger-Kirshaw-Pierson-c42135 with the same playing XI which was comprehensively beaten at the same venue a couple of days earlier. He is hoping for an improved showing, which will allow his side to break the
losing jinx against their Asian rivals.
The veteran further added that the track is on the drier side this time, which will help his batters to play more fluently. However, he said it was a matter of posting a decent score on the board.
A calm Misbah-ul-Haq was content with the performance of his team in the first ODI, claiming that it was a pleasure to see his fast bowlers bowling. However, he will have to do without http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Sami-c77289, who suffered a thumb injury and is replaced by promising
left-armer Rahat Ali.

There has been little rain in Pallekele in the past 24 hours but the conditions are overcast. The strip is the same which was used for the first game but has lost its shine.
The tourists put in a thorough professional performance in the opening encounter – Umar Gul started the rout with three top order wickets, while Sami was also at his supreme best in his comeback ODI game. The batting order then also clicked with Mohammad
Hafeez and Umar Akmal chipping in with valuable contributions.
Pakistan will have an upper hand going into the game after stretching their winning streak against the Lankan http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Lions-c808. The Green Shirts have won nine of their last 11 matches against the hosts and will look to take a 2-0 lead in the series.
