http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 – 4th ODI – Toss Report
Sri Lankan skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/DPMD-Jayawardene-c1397, has won the toss and his side will be batting first against Pakistan on what seems to be another rain-affected evening at the R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo, on June 16, 2012.
With the third ODI washed out, the Lankan Cricket Board have decided to add two reserve days in a bid to ensure that the series bears a result. The hosts’ team is unchanged from the lineup, which had to field just 6.2 overs in the previous game.
Their outing had gone to plan until that point before rain intervened to abandon play. The combination is also the same, as confirmed by Jayawardene, with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sohail-Tanvir-c90665, the left-armer, and his ability to angle the ball across the right-hander.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/HMRKB-Herath-c1559 for the remaining matches, keeps his place and will be hoping to get a bowl later in the innings.
The Men in Green skipper, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Asad-Shafiq-c46208 set to feature in the middle-order.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Hafeez-c76898, who was down with an ankle strain, has recovered and will open the batting, hoping to improve on his previous outing where he was absolutely out foxed by the Lankan new ball bowlers.
The major worry for fans will be the weather, which remains bleak. Rain is forecasted for the coming week but one hopes for a full 50-over game. Just to add information, if rains interrupts, and play is suspended, the reserve day will see the game beginning from where it had originally been left.
