The ODI series was rescheduled to be played in 2011 considering the bad weather in Sri Lanka, but that didn’t help the cause as rain washed away the first ODI.
Sri Lanka will also be looking to try as many options as possible in the ODI series against West Indies. The team decided to rest http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ajantha-c42419 Mendis, who played the first match, and brought-in the left-arm spinner Rangana Herath.
Although the hosts elected to field first in today’s match, they will be expecting the rain to stay away from Colombo. The home team on the other hand, will be looking forward to get some batting practice ahead of the World Cup, unless rain has a part to
play, again.
