Australia got knocked out of the World Cup 2011, and lost Ashes series against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, therefore the coach has warned the team that the Australians will charge like a wounded lion.
The coach has cautioned the national team that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Australia-c746 had remained the top team of the World for long but the recent failures in some of the big events and the drop in the World rankings has alarmed them and on this tour, the Aussies will try to regain
their might and defeat the host team.

The skipper Dilshan said, “He has been exceptional. He introduced us to certain new things that we had not seen even from some of the foreign coaches before. Being Sri Lankan, he understands situations well and players also relate to him freely. I believe
in the long run he will be a very good coach with the national team.”
Dilshan was glad that all the current coaches of the national team are Sri Lankan which helps them have better relations and understanding.
Rumesh was reluctant to be permanently attached with the national team in the past but this time, the players and the coaching staff have such cordial terms that Rumesh has requested the board to appoint him as the permanent head coach for the Sri Lankan
cricket team.
The most commendable thing of Rumesh’s coaching according to Dilshan is his planning. The captain said that he plans so well and in so much detail, that every day when the players come for practice, each one of them knows what he is supposed to do.
