Former England International, Mark Ramprakash has announced his retirement from English domestic cricket, putting an end to a 25-year career.
The decision was made after http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Surrey-c851 informed the veteran of their intentions to look for the future. The 42-year-old had a slow start to the current campaign and had lost his position in early May.
"I had a tough start to this season but I continued to try and remain fit and wanted to play. However, last week I was informed I was not in Surrey's selection plans, therefore I decided it was time to step aside,” he said.
