Sri Lankan Women conquer http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Netherlands-c753 Women – Women s’ Quadrangular Series
Sri Lankan women crushed Netherland women by eight wickets in the Women’s Quadrangular Series match played on 29 April, 2011, at Nondescripts Cricket Club Ground, Colombo.
Earlier Sri Lankan women won the toss and offered the Dutch women to bat. Netherland could only manage 66 runs in 38 overs and were not even able to utilise the full quota of fifty overs.

Sri Lankan women charged with some aggressive bowling, making it difficult for Netherland to score. Sherina Ravikumar grabbed four wickets, Maduri Samuddika and Sandamali Dolawatta chipped in with two wickets each while Chamari Polgampola got one.
The Sri Lankan batting reply was equally dominating, they certainly intended to make short work of the total.

Chamari Atapattu Jayangani and Avanthika Mendis opened for the Lankan Women, the duo thrashed the Dutch bowlers, scoring 42 runs in six overs.
Mendis was the first to go after scoring 12 off 13. Jayangani kept going strong until she was dismissed after scoring 32 off 28. The Lankan total was 46 at the time, nearing victory.
Eshani Kaushalya and Deepika Rasangika got together and took the game away from Netherlands. Rasangika hammered the Dutch bowlers for 24 off 9. She remained unbeaten as the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 women achieved the target, scoring 72 runs in 8.4 overs, losing two wickets in the process.
Lanser and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Esther-de-Lange-c56440 were the two successful Netherland bowlers, however, they could not salvage the match for their side.
Sri Lankan women won the match convincingly by eight wickets.
