Sangakkara's strong results in the first half of Sri Lanka’s series with the West Indies comes at the same time as Tendulkar left the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 match with little to show for it, leading to a switch between the ICC’s top two batsmen.
Tendulkar came out of four innings against New Zealand with one half-century, while Sangakkara has, up to now, made 228 runs in his series with the West Indies, giving him a total of 882 points on the ICC rating, 23 above Tendulkar.

Siddle goes on to play England in the second Ashes Test on Friday, and he is expected to rise consistently in the rankings provided that he keeps up his form and performs well throughout the series.
