Srt-4 top speed?

everyones claiming that a bone stock no mods right from the factory 2.4L turbo srt-4 neon will do 140mph. i thought the goverment would put a restriction on the top speed. any one know?

Well I drive a 1994 Nissan Maxima and it's been said they can do 130-135 or so. I wouldn't doubt that the SRT-4 can do 140.

Top speed is drag limited to 156 mph.
