How do you get from Cote-Vertu Metro to St.Catherine Street. I want to go to FabricVille, but I don't know how to. The address is:

FABRICVILLE #36

  1. Thought you would like to know, there is a huge Fabricville just three stops from Cote Vertu Metro -- @ Namur Metro.

    Fabricville

    5250 Pare (Corner of Decarie),

    Montreal, QC Telephone : 514-733-7118

    You get off at Namur Metro, and walk down Decarie [northwards] until you hit Pare st. or when you see the big Shell gas station. Fabricville is right behind the Shell. It use to be a bowling alley called Pare Lanes. It's a 5 mins walk from the metro, very close by.

    But if you are looking for something specific and really want to go to the Fabricville on St-Catherine St. W.....here's how you can get there:

    (1)  From Cote-Vertu Metro [Orange line], take the metro until Lionel-Groulx.

    10 stops: Cote-Vertu --> Du College, De la Savane, Namur, Cote-St-Catherine, Plamodon, Snowdon, Villa-Maria, Vendome, Place-Saint-Henri, & Lionel-Groulx.

    (2)  When you get off the metro at Lionel-Groulx, walk straight across to the other side of the platform [do not go downstairs] for the Green line -heading towards the direction Honore-Beaugrand. Get on the metro and get off at Place-des-Arts.

    5 stops: Lionel-Groulx --> Atwater, Guy, Peel, McGill, & Place-des-Arts

    (3)  When you get off the metro, take a "right" and go towards the end of the metro....all the way to the end. There are two exits at Metro Place-des-Arts. You are looking for the Bleury St. exit.

    Once you find the exit and get out to the street level. You want to walk southwards [take a right when you exit the Metro] on Bleury St. towards St-Catherine St. West.

    **Please Note: This Place-des-Arts exit is situated on Bleury St. between  President-Kennedy and De Maisonneuve. It does not show up on my google map link.

    It's short walk to St-Catherine St. W. Once you hit St-Catherine St, you will see MusiquePlus on the corner. Cross the street...because Fabricville is on the southside of St-Catherine St. It is right across the street  from MusiquePlus.

    So walk down Bleury St. and take a right onto St-Catherine St. W. after you cross the street....the Fabricville is not that far from the corner...it's downstairs by the way.

    Take a look at the map of the store. http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&q=354%2...

    Happy Shopping!

  2. Go there:

    http://subway.umka.org/maps/montreal.gif

    Green Line, from Atwater to Papineau is on (or really really near) Sainte-Cath.

    Musique Plus is at 355, St-Cath Street W, so I guess it's right in front of it ;) So come down at Place des Arts, and then up the hill, for maybe 2minutes MAX. :)

    Musique Plus will be at your right, so FabriqueVille should be at your left :)

    Edit: (Take the orange line at Cote-Vertu, until Lionel-Groulx, then change to the green line toward Honoré-Beaugrand, and then get out at Place des Arts :))

  3. There is the service offered by STM and it is called "Tous azimuts":

  4. What do they sell there? Fabrics, lol?

    Anyways, looks like MTLgurl gave you the best answer - I'd go with that one if I were you!

    She even knew that there was a closer FabricVille to where you actually are - can you believe this?!?

    As far as I can tell, no one else knew this!

    Hope you eventually find what you're looking for!

    Good luck!
