St. John Newfoundland?

i am going to st. johns Ontario Canada just wondering if there is anything to do there other then watching whales and seeing ice burghs?

are you kidding?  St. John's IS a city, there are lots of things to do.  Sports, swimming, tennis, hiking (really nice trails), golf.  Museums, historical buildings.  Of course there is nightlife stuff too, clubs and pubs (it's Newfoundland... they like to drink).

Lots of people I know have gone to Newfoundland to quad (4wheeling) especially for Moose hunting.

Enjoy your time there!  It is a beautiful province with really great people.

Lots of parks to go to

Lots of historic sites with in St. john's

Depending on when you are coming there may be a show on at the Arts and Culture Centre.

Lots of festivals in the summer.

There are lots of places just outside of St. John's to go visit.
