St. Johns Waves in the US Virgin Islands?

Does St. Johns (Virgin Islands USA) have good waves? Like waves that are big enough to dive under or swim on?

No. During the Christmas winds or a tropical storm is brewing, you will get some surf  on the North beaches but the water is usually pretty calm. That is a big plus for me. Calm waters

Cancun and Hawaii have the big waves)

Well, I would have to say no. St. John does, however, have breathtaking views, amazing water, and beautiful beaches!!

The USVI is definitely not the place to hang 10.  Our waters tend to be calm and tranquil almost year round with the exception of when storms roll through.  You'll also find that most of the really nice beaches in St. John don't allow excessive water sports (mostly jet skis) because they fall under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service.
