  1. personally I never used it but i worked in a pharmacy and this woman i worked with used it and she said it was very helpful to her. Might depend on what you are using it for. It is a natural product so you shouldn't see any side effects.

  2. St Johns wort is used mild depression...very difficult depression needs doctors help...you cannot use St John's wort when you are using drug for depression...St John's wort has some side effects when used with other drugs..so check from your pharmacist

  3. I'm taking it sometimes as a tincture form. I think it is a good sedative but I have not really given it long enough to see if it helps my depression though my depression is rather strong at times.

Just one thing I heard about it though, if you are taking other herbal medicines or for that matter maybe allopathic also, it tends to make other medicines pass through the system more quickly. That would mean that they may not act as strongly. That is what I heard once. You'll have to verify it with a herbalist.

It might help to try a homeopathic form. Good luck

  4. I have a friend who said it made things worse for her.

  5. This herb is one of the few, which really does have scientific background with thousand of studies saying only the best. It does work good but be careful taking it if your iris is silk. (not recommended).
