St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson expects huge support from fans against Green Bay Packers
St. Louis Rams have won their last three home games and they would want to stretch the winning run on home to four games when they face Green Bay Packers.
However, that is not going to be an easy task because the Packers are a much better side than Rams. Although both teams are standing at 3-3- after Week 6, Packers offence has started finding its rhythm that could cause some troubles for the Rams defence.
Also, the Packers usually have an astounding support from their fans even if they are playing any game on road.
So it is expected that when Rams’ fans will come to see their team having a shot at extending the home winning streak to four games, Packers’ fans will also take their seats to see their team crushing the hopes of other Rams’ fans.
Rams running back Steven Jackson expects his team’s fans to be there for the team. According to the details present on the team’s website, the running back said:
“I believe our fans are going to answer the call. They (Packers fans) travel well. It’s not a far trip for them. The Dome, we’re undefeated there and we’ve done a good job of defending home, so we’ve got to make sure that we do it again. So, we have a tough
opponent in Green Bay, but if we want people to be for real about us, we’ve got to win these kinds of games.”
Rams’ next three games are going to present some tough challenges for the defence. Rams have played three of their last six games against the offences that were led by rookie quarterbacks. However, their next three games are going to be played against experienced
quarterbacks.
Rams have to face Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Alex Smith, and true potential of Rams defence will be displayed when these players come against them.
Rams head coach Jeff Fisher has acknowledged that the games against veteran quarterbacks are going to be more difficult. He said:
“We have some challenges ahead of us, so our defence needs to be at its very best.”
