St Lucia or Barbados for a vacation? Which do you prefer and why?

* Great nightlife

* Friendly locals

* Interesting culture/history

* Nice beaches even some isolated (great for privacy)

* Cheap public transit ($1.50 BDS each way)

* Great for snorkeling/scuba diving/surfing

* Amazing sites

St. Lucia!  It is so lush and tropical.  Barbados is beautiful, just a lot more arid.  If you want to go for shopping, Barbados would be better, but there is more to do in St. Lucia, and I just think the island is so beautiful.  Have fun wherever you go!

i'll go with st. lucia bc i never went to st. lucia yet.. but i will also like to go to st. lucia.. i love barbados its so beautiful.. i used to live over there and the people is so nice over there omg.. and their accent is off the hook.. oh shite... and the list go on and on again... good luck and have fun for me and you..

I loved St Lucia. Don't know about Barbados but l'll be visiting there month end.

I prefer St. Lucia. Its friendlier and a lot more tropical. The island is larger and has a lot of things to do and see.
