  1. to tunisian: the fare on oyster is actually £3.50 between 7am and 7pm monday to friday and £2 other times

  2. The tube is cheaper by far. Just get the Piccadilly line going to Heathrow T 1 2 3. Fares are Oyster £2.50 other fare is £4.00 These are single fares.

Oops Edit: I missed the travel time. Time from Kings X to Heathrow is approximately 35 minutes - 40 minutes and it is a direct service.

  3. Christ, learn to look up a time table!

  4. Its probably easier & cheaper to just get the Piccadilly Line... goes direct so you don't need to go up stairs if you change platforms with bags, and definitely costs less.

Try to give it about 90 mins though, I got caught out last time with delays.

  5. I think the Express is a waste. The Picadilly Line has special train cars because they know that people will have luggage. You don't have these special cars on any of the underground lines from King's Cross to Paddington. Also the Picadilly Line has a train every 5 minutes, vs 15 minutes for the Express. By the time you drag your luggage onto the circle line and wait for an express train, you won't really save that much travel time and you will have spent a lot more money.

    - Picadilly Line from King's Cross to Heathrow T3 is 67 minutes. TFL says 44 minutes via the Underground and the Express, but that really depends on how much trouble it is for you to muscle your luggage onto the crowded underground to go from KC to Paddington.  If you do the link by taxi you will really spend a lot of money.
