St. Petersburg morning commute time to Brandon?

I am considering moving to St. Petersburg. My job is on the edge of Brandon in Tampa. I am wondering how long to allow for morning commute. I see that it is about 30 miles, but I want to know how jammed the highway gets. Does an hour sound right? I live in Atlanta now, so if anyone who knows how Atlanta traffic is can give me a comparison, that would be cool. Thanks!

It depends on where you live in St. Pete an hour is decent maybe a little more.  They have the Crosstown which is about 2.50 each way that could trim the time down a little.  Why not move closer to Brandon.
