  1. You will not lack water sports at the Ritz or on the island. The Ritz is an expensive resort, surprised you want to know prices. However, use of non-motorized water activities are included. Sailboats,Paddle Boats, wind surfers, kayaks and snorkel equipment.

I do like the location of the Ritz, close to Red Hook ferry and the island of St John. A must do for any one visiting the USVI. The Ritz has a catamaran that takes guests over to St John but there is a surcharge.

Have a great time and enjoy the USVI)

  2. Windsurfing Lessons: Cost is $85 USD and $35 for each additional person. Lesson is one hour in length.

    ** Every Tuesday  at 9:30 a.m. - Complimentary Windsurfing 101 Clinic

Kiteboarding Lessons: Island Sol's instructors are Professional Air Sports Certified (PASA). All equipment and safety boats are included. Specific wind conditions required. Cost is $135 and $35 for each additional person.

Lesson is approximately one and a half hours to two hours.

Hobie Sailing Lessons: Island Sol's US Sailing certified instructors have developed two different resort lessons that allow guests to learn how to safely maneuver a Hobie Wave inside Great Bay.  Cost is $45 for 1-2 people. Lesson is a 30 minute refresher for guests with limited sailing experience. Introductory one hour class is $85 and $35 for a second person.

    ** Every Monday at 9:30 a.m. - Complimentary Sailing 101 Clinic

  3. I didn't stay at the Ritz, it's way to far out of town (Chalotte Amelie).  I'd recommend you cancel and stay at the Frenchman's Reef Marriot.  You could use a taxi to get to town -- you'll definately want to; and you'll have to have one if you stay at the Ritz.  Nice drive through the slums to get to town.  The Marriott has a much better way;  they have their own private ferry boat to town, and it's a beautiful and easy way to get to town.  (Traffic in the city - Charlotte Amelie, well, lets just say it's "crowded").  Not only is the ferry boat a very beautiful and easy way to get to town, it's cheaper than taxi's.  Oh, did I mention the hotel (the Frenchman's Marriot), has the most beautiful views of ANY hotel in ANY of the USVI?  Trust me, they do

You'll love it.  Trust me, cancel the Ritz and stay at the Frenchman's instead.

    No, I don't work there.
