We are going on vacation to St. Thomas in May and are staying at a resort. Other than relaxing and hanging out at the beach, what kind of attractions are there? Thanks!!!

  1. As far as amusement parks or waterslides, there's nothing.  They have a "submarine attraction", but I have yet to do it, though it doesn't look too bad.  There is a "sky ride" in Charlotte Amalie, but you basically go to the top of a hill on a ski lift.  The best thing you can do is, like you said, hang on the beach and relax.

Then there is St. John.  It is only a fifteen minute ride on the fairy and you can bring your car or walk.  St. John is mostly a wildlife refuge, so you do a lot of hiking and sightseeing.  And some of the best snorkeling in the area is at cinnamon bay.

I have been to St. Thomas for two previous vacations, in fact I own a timeshare at Bluebeards Beach Club.  I have never been disappointed, but I like to relax and have a few drinks...daily, when on vacation.

  2. I'm going on a cruise in March, and its stopping at St. Thomas. You can snorkle there, swim, go on boat rides, and bananna boat.
