Stabbing pain in left heel?

whenever i go outside to run or play sports, i get this sharp, shooting pain in my left heel. I am only thirteen any ideas?

  1. Could be you have a bone spur, not all that uncommon among those who engage in a lot of physical activity.

    Could also be the beginnings of plantar faciitis

  2. i get the same thing, its right on the fat pad up closer to where the achilles tendon attaches. this is because of inactivity, it will go away but massaging it and digging in the irritated area helps a lot.

    if it continues to bother you try icing and going to the doctor.
