Former Liverpool manager, Roy Evans believes that it is important for the Reds to show patience with Kenny Dalglish, as a change of manager may have an adverse affect on the club.
The Anfield side witnessed a couple of sackings in the upper hierarchy, after the club’s Director of football Damien Comolli and the head of sports science Dr Peter Bruckner, were both relieved of their duties on Thursday.

Dalglish, who has also capped 355 appearances for the Reds as a player, had also coached the Merseyside team from 1985 to 1991. He was appointed as the manager of the side for a second time in January, 2011. However, his job was subjected to scrutiny, after
the Reds suffered a string of poor results in 2012, which saw them crash down to the eighth place in the league table.
Nevertheless, Evans spoke out in support of the troubled manager, and believed that it was prudent for the Reds to retain him for a longer period.
"Stability is hugely important in football," Evans told Yahoo Sports.
"You see some clubs chopping and changing managers at will, and something needs to be done about that.”
The 63 year old, who also represented the Reds in 9 matches as a player, remained the head coach of the Merseyside team for four years in the 90’s, and guided his side to 123 wins from 244 matches. He played a crucial part in reviving the club, after the
Reds were left reeling in the league under their former manager, Graeme Souness.
The Englishman put forward the example of the Manchester United boss, Alex Fergusson’s long term at Old Trafford, and the all the successes which the club have experienced under his management.
He added: "Everybody should keep in mind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson, who people thought was close to being sacked in 1990, and just look at what he has achieved because the club gave him time to get things right."
Evans also cast light on the fact that Dalglish cannot be blamed for the Reds poor form in the league, as other factors have resulted in their capitulation this season.
“I think everybody recognises their league form hasn't been good enough - that's not to criticise Kenny, it's just a fact. They have struggled to win games at home and haven't been their usual force”
