  1. Turning out a horse on a daily routine. Talk it over with the manager about where your horse should go. It is not natural for a horse to be stables which is why it is best to let a horse out of it's stable for 4minimum a day, to socialize with otha horses (grooming, sniffing) and to run around the paddock with their own freedom.

    Hope that helped :)

  2. to turn out is to take the horses out of their stalls and let the horse stretch it's legs in a enclosed pen , while the stall is being cleaned.

  3. it means they will let you horse out to run in a pasture...most of the time you can chose if you want to put the horse in a group (if you have more than one of your horses there) or in it's own turnout area, but if you do choose to board make sure you tell them if they need to lead with a chain or not...

  4. What they mean by Daily Turn Out, Is at some point during the day they let your horse out into the pasture to graze, and relax.

I dont think they put them out if it is raining real bad, so i wouldnt worry about that.

I also couldnt tell you for how long they leave them out, maybe a few hours. Depends on the place, how many pastures, and how many horses, and how many horses can go into one pasture.

I dont like using stables. The thought of someone else always tacking care of my horse, instead of me doing it. and her being in a barn during the night, and sometimes during the day. She hates the barn. she has a really thick coat, and even fans dont help.

  5. it means they put them out to pasture

  6. Daily turnout means that in the morning (or sometime in the day) someone provides the service of throwing your horse out in a pasture and brings them in after a period of time. This could be an hour to even 5.

So this means your horse will always be going out on a daily basis.

  7. it means that they let them out in the pasture.

  8. The horses aren't kept in a stall all the time, but turned out to  run and exercise, usually in a pasture or large corral.
