Stack and tilt legit?

Stack and tilt legit? It is like the exact opposite of what ur supposed to do so ya it cant be real can it?!

I think it's a load of c**p but I have a friend that uses a similar swing theory, taught by one of the coaches in Australia (I'm Australian and so is he)  and he plays off 0.6.

It's done wonders for Mike Weir.

Aaron Baddely was the first to use the stack and tilt golf swing. I have tried it and it has many good points.It is very good for the short and middle irons. However, it is particulary difficult with the driver.. if you have a look at Aaron's stats via the PGA Tour website he does not hit many fairways either.

You just need to go with what works best for you.. copying somebody will only get you so far.

The article was in Golf Digest and has gone unread. Most instructional articles go unread for the old adage" You can't teach an old dog new tricks" is very true. If you have had a Sam Snead rhythm and cadence for 70 years, what is there to change ? Those who feel that the " stack and Tilt " is helpful, go for it. You only can improve by trying.
