Question:

Stacking on Xbox 360

I keep my xbox on its side, layed down on my counter, and I was wondering if it would be safe to put a Nintendo 64 stacked ontop of it...

Would this cause the 360 to overheat? Or would it be completely safe?

I have no accessories connected to my 360 to cool it off.

  1. Don't get a cooling system they will just give you rrod make it stand vertically so the console can get some air.

  2. as someone who has had the rrod without stacking, i would recomend you not to block, or put any preasure whatsoever on top of it.

it is a very delecate (crappy really) machine. and you wouldnt want to block any of its already modest airholes.

  3. maybe just get a cooling fan then it will be fine

  4. No, do not stack anything on it.  Both the added weight and the extra heat generated will be bad for your system.

And if you're going to get a cooling device for your xbox 360, MAKE SURE IT IS THE PELECIN COOLER - THE ONE THAT PLUGS INTO YOUR USB PORT.

The Nyko Intercooler mooches off your power suppy and is EXTREMELY damaging to your system.  Voids your warrenty too.

  5. I don't reccomend you put a nintendo 64 on it.
