However it seems that due to a dispute in the youngster’s contract with the club, Caen might be on the verge of losing the extremely talented youngster. Le Parisien reveals that the contract that binds Niang with Caen has a major flaw which can turn against
the club.
The striker was a minor at the time when he was offered a contract with Caen. This means that Niang’s parents’ signatures were used in order to include the player in the Caen squad. However, it now appears that both parents never signed the contract for
Niang.
Niang’s father’s lawyer, Khalid Ouadi now says, “For something as important as a contract of employment, both parents must sign for their child if he or she is a minor. Now the father has not signed the contract and wants the contract to be annulled.”
The recent news is definitely a big blow for Stade Malherbe de Caen as the club could also see the contract with Niang broken which would then mean that the Meulan-born youngster would become a free agent.

The club has already lost Youssef El-Arabi and the loss of Niang would definitely hurt the club a lot if the youngster declines to re-sign a new contract.
