Staffy could do with filling out a little bit more

hi i have a little girl staffy she is a year and a half old but doesnt seem as wide as all my friends staffys sort of lanky looking she has stopped growing upwards i was wondering if shell fill out anymore and if so is there some sortof high protien diet i can put her on

  1. Unless you purchased her from very reputable breeders, and they have predicted that she will look like her 'wide' parents, there is no reason she should have that 'wideness'. Just like people, staffies come in al shapes and sizes. Some that have muscular dogs in the family, grow up to be muscular and wide. And some that have thinner dogs in the family, grow up to be thinner.

    So it isn't possible to generalize all staffies as being muscular like that. She just has those specific genes in her family, so perhaps she never will grow to look like your friends' staffies.

    She still is quite young, but aslong a you feed her quality food, she will only grow as her genes indicate her to.
