  1. No real offense meant but don't make this your career

  2. Block out the audience, live in your own world... pretend your singing in your room. Just think: this is a school show... what are they gonna do if i mess up? Sue Me? Laugh? NO!

  3. I'm not going to tell you to imagine everyone in their underwear, that's dumb. when you're up on stage trust me, the lights are so blindly you'll only see figures of the people. try practicing in front of a few friends and family when you DO see them.

    and when you're watching a show, are you sitting there criticizing their every move looking for them to mess up? no!

    if you got the lead I'm sure you're fine to begin with! and don't over practice you might loose your voice, and do not NOT practice because everyone needs practice!

    drink water it cools down your stomach (;

    break a leg!

  4. Pretend the audience isnt there and sing just like you have been practicing and in dress rehersals. i was in my school play these past 2 yrs and even tho I dont have a lead role or anything I still get nervous. I usually always pray before hand so God can help me and not let me be as afraid, take a few deep breaths and tell myself everything is going to be ok, and if somethings happens that isnt suppoused to happen...who else will know besides you and other cast memebers even tho it can still  be embarrasing. Block out the audience and sing to your fullest potiental as well as perform. Good luck!!!!!!!
