  1. why don't you go to boxing rules dot com i went there once and it was soooooooooooooooooooo exiting go there and you will also learn the basics and other etc.

  2. 1- Learning the stance- where to put your feet

2- Learning your guard- where to put your hands

3- Footwork- how to move forwards, backwards, side to side

4- Rolling and Ducking- how to move the body, while keeping your guard up to avoid punches

5- The Jab- most important punch, straight out from the weakest hand

6- The right cross- or left for south paws

    7- the hooks

    8- the uppercut

9- Combinations- how to throw them

10- Shadowboxing- how to put together footwork and punch combinations, while rolling and ducking

    11- Bag work

    12- speed ball work

    13- Sparring

During all of the above lessons a strict and disciplined fitness regime must be in place- running, skipping, circuit training.

Real boxers should never lift weights, unless fighting at heavyweight, as the dense muscle will slow you down.

Using the weight of your body to do pull ups, press ups, sit ups will be sufficient strength conditioning, and will not slow your pace.

All workouts should be done to 3 minute rounds with 30 seconds rest in between to get the body used to the exertion cycle.

Obviously there are whole books written on this subject as boxing is an intricate sport and technique can take years to master so this is an extremely succint description!

    Good luck
