Stain when cleaning my wood dresser?

I tried cleaning my new cherry wood dresser with a can of Pledge and now there are streaks. Any tips on how to get the Pledge stains out of the wood?

All cotton cloth.  Rub, rub, rub.

Use an old piece of flannel or old cotton sheets ......rub in circles....and then only use Murphy's oil soap from now on...read the directions
