  1. Were they stained when they grew in? If so, then you may have fluorosis, due to taking in too much fluoride as a young child when your teeth were developing. Also, it's possible that your mum might have taken certain antibiotics when she was pregnant with you, or you might have taken them as a young child before your permanent teeth erupted.

Both those kind of stains are part of the tooth's internal structure and can't be removed by brushing. They can also be resistant to whitening techniques although you might get some improvement. If they are really bad then you might want to consider having those teeth veneered at a later date.

  2. I used to smoke and drink tea so often that my teeth looks so yellow. I tried all these kind of white strips and tooth paste but they didn't work at all. One day a friend of mine from Tai Wan mailed me a tooth powder product and I used it normally like tooth paste and it did whiten my teeth immediately. My friend said that tooth product was once recommended by a famous celebrity and I have been using it for many years up till now. It does work and it costs just $60 /143g !! 3. I hear the Rembrandt whitening strips to works... My teeth are waaaay white, so I have not personally tried them.  My best friend  did and after about 2 weeks, there was a big difference... You don't want to use them more than a month though, it can take the enamel off your teeth...
