I just got the keys to my apartment today. When we came to see the place, there were stains all over the white carpet, but they said it would all be cleaned before we moved in. When I went to see it today, you could tell the the carpets had been cleaned but there were orange spots all over the white carpet. What can I do about that? Does my lanndlord have to fix it??

  1. yes your landlord should fix this, it is thier problem not yours.

you could tackle the stains with various products, but the best advice I can give is goto www.tipking.com and look up "stains" this site will be great for what you need, I heard about it on the radio.

    Good luck

  2. The landlord does need to know about it and should fix it. Otherwise s/he might say you caused it and may charge you for it.

Anyways, if s/he does leave you to fix it, a good stain remover is Nature's Miracle. I have a Bone/Light Beige carpet so every spot is visible. This stuff takes up everything without damaging the carpet. It's easy to use too. If you can find it, I would definitely buy it.
