The former FC Koln manager has expressed his anger after being sacked by the club on Thursday.
The manager had been under heavy scrutiny after a string of disappointing results in the past few weeks. The side is going through a rough patch at the moment and has won only one of the last 10 league games which is a very worrying
sign.

is why he is furious.

“Yes, it's over. I've been sacked, but I can't say anything more than that. I can't say anything other than that I've been sacked and I'm furious,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
FC Koln issued a statement claiming that the manager has been granted a leave and have appointed Frank Schaefer as the boss until the end of the season. The side stated that the decision has been made in the wake of the club’s
poor form and Schaefer will be the manager in the next four games.
“He is already preparing them for the derby against Borussia Monchengladbach. Stale Solbakken is on leave. This decision was made at a general meeting of the board and against the backdrop of the current situation,” the statement
read.
FC Koln have a tough task next week against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia Park as they look to save their season and fight for staying in the first division at the end of the season.
