Stale bread for birds?

i want to give bread to birds but wat if its stale is that ok i dont want to hurt them

As long as it's not mouldy then it's fine for the birds.

I feed the garden birds everyday, with bread, fat balls, peanuts and wild bird seed.

I have two Robins nesting in my window box outside my kitchen window, they have 4 baby birds in the nest, I feed them a bird mix of insects and meal worms specially for Robins.
