Stalks off marijuana leaf usable?

Was wondering if you could make or do anything with the stalks from a marijuana plant. Was watchin a stoner movie and it brought this argument up.

You can smoke all the plant,it's just the stalks aren't that potent.

You can make crappy soap hash with it.

Power up the shade leaf 10 to 1 with some bud, melt some beeswax in a bain marie, stir in turpentine,coffee powder and the powdered dope.

Mould into shape when cooling and you have soap bar.

there are thc and cannaniboids in the stalks, yes, but in lower levels. you could make nice hash tea, or coffee is nice too., i prefer hash coffee.  enjoy.

my friend uses the stems for tea, he says its not bad.

note im saying stems, not stalks. stalks are suggesting the big stems, which i would not suggest.

There's not much THC in the stalks, but what there is you can extract by cooking them, long and slow, in butter; strain and refrigerate.  Use lots of stalks and as little butter as you can; reuse the butter for several cookings.  Makes the best damned Spaghetti al Burro, and alle Vongole, in the world.
