Stand To Reason set to stand first in Memorial Handicap
Stand To Reason is all set to stand first in the John Halewood Memorial Handicap that will take place at Chester racecourse on Saturday, June 9. The Class 2 contest on the distance of 1 mile, 2 furlongs and 75 yards will commence at 3:10 (GMT).
The Mikael Magnusson-trained novice colt owns a terrific track record. He has won 3 of his total 6 starts so far, having 50 percent success ratio that augurs well for his today’s going.
The four-year-old talented runner started his career in May 2011. He managed to break his maiden no later than June 4. Being an 11-4 favourite, he elegantly gained first position in the Tandridge Maiden Stakes against 10 rivals.

He will surely give tough time to Stand To Reason and the battle between the duo is likely to make the event interesting and thrilling.
Knowe Head can give tough time to both Stand To Reason and War Poet. The James Unett-trained bay gelding elegantly claimed a triumph on February 24, 2012. The veteran horse again accomplished a grand victory on May 17 and went on to finish as a runner-up in his last start on May 26.
