Standard right drive cars?

Question

Cars made for the UK are right drive (the steering wheel is on the right side instead of the left like here in the US). If a right drive car has a standard transmission, is the gear pattern the same as that in the US? or is it the opposite.

is it like this (for a 5 speed):

1 3 5

2 4 R

or like this

5 3 1

R 4 2
