  1. No I do it very openly.  Never shocked, never disturbed.  Perhaps I don't shop in the right places! I did talk to an old lady at the checkout who told me she liked orgasmic fruit though.  That was a bit of an eye-opener!

  2. naw nothing disturbing, it's not like I'm shopping at my local SM club!!!

But I do check things out!!!

As a matter of fact I've tried shopping out of other people's carts, they don't appreciate it!!

  3. i always check out other peoples shopping, so was really embarassed when i had to purchase 12 cucumbers from morrisons for my husbands restaurant, as they were missing from the delivery.

    i had many strange looks!!!

  4. I was at the supermarket and there was this woman placing her shopping on the conveyor belt, she had a box of condoms which she had placed carefully under the rest of the goods. I was looking and thinking why we are still embarrassed when buying condoms and whether I would have probably done the same.

  5. Have you also noticed when looking at stuff on the shelves people 'clock' what you are looking at and as soon as you move away they are in there!

People are so sad these days they seem to even need their choices validating at the bloody supermarket.

The most bizarre thing I've seen is someone buying 10 3ft wooden nutcracker dolls in Costco.

  6. lol yeh..there's a guy where i live fills his trolley with tesco value bread, that's all.

  7. what disturbs me is the amount of fake food some people ingest. phoo! hi there, blue!

  8. yer just can't help myself...haven't been disturbed yet so i'll keep looking!

  9. I do, and i can't help it. I must admit though, i havent seen anything that has shocked me.

  10. Not been shocked yet by what people buy.

The one thing that would shock me though will be when the woman in front of me has her purse out ready to pay.

They just stand there waiting for all the items to ring up and go to the end of the conveyor, and then suddenly, without any warning, the cashier asks for the money.

They look stumped and begin rummaging in their bags for their purse, and still they rummage around in that to find the last penny.

I stand their thinking..' Yep. you gotta pay for it all... nothing surprising in that'.

The stores ahould have 'MEN ONLY' checkouts so we are not held up for to long.

  11. Their shopping always seems more interesting than mine.

  12. I do get concerned at how much 'junk food' some parents are buying. Not in a judgemental way; I just see them with small children & wish they were buying something with nutritional value.

I loathe supermarkets, preferred the old days, with smaller shops.

  13. Ahead of me at the checkout were a Muslim couple.  The man was unloading the trolley and the woman was at the end, doing the packing.  He put everything on the belt except two boxes of tampons, which he left in the trolley, and which his wife had to come back to take out.   He obviously wouldn't touch them.

Not disturbing as such, but a bit sad I thought.

  14. lol I always do that!

I'm very nosey though so I can't help it

never seen anything disturbing but I did once see a girl buying squirty cream and a packet of ribbed condoms

her red face said it all

  15. If you shop at Lidl everything you see is disturbing.

  16. Ha Ha well I shall have my eyes open for all you sneaky eyed shoppers. I have a casual look . What I am shocked about is how many of you are LOOKING. Sometimes I buy 10x 5KG bags of sugar SOOOOOOO What are you thinking now ahhh.

****SEE**** if you can guess haha

  17. Not sneakily, no.  I just have a look as they put things on the conveyor.

I've never been shocked but was a bit baffled when I saw a women buy approx 200 toothbrushes.

  18. yeah in tesco self service checkout for baskets only, i got in to argument with some old cat lady because she said that i cant use it if i have more then 10 items. OK i know this... there is massive sign above my head telling me that  but everybody does not give a **** about it so why should i not  use it only because i have 11 items?

  19. They don't really sell anything disturbing at asda.

  20. Why did that granny of 92 have condoms in her basket ????
