I am a current Stanford student and a member of a student group that promotes social enterprise. We are participating in the Innovation Tournament at Stanford (http://eweek.stanford.edu). Our project is to create "value" through giving honest college advice to high school students. For more info, please visit our site at cardinalstretch.blogspot.com.

Basically, we want to know:

1) Why do you want to go to College?

2) Tell us something interesting about yourself or what your dreams are, and how college can help you achieve them.

We will select several responses, and either through a telephone or video conference, answer any question you may have to the best of our abilities. We got into the college our dreams, and want to help deserving students do the same.

  1. Eh, I felt compelled so share a brief answer.

    1) I want to go to college to get a license in pharmacology and hopefully follow in my parent's footsteps which is so far, a promising career. I like the thought of a challenge and wish to benefit others in my career.

    2) I believe, in my perspective, that college is required to follow most of your dreams. I don't plan on creating some invention to get me paid through life, so I plan on learning. College's basically a gateway to careers, at least, that's how I look at it. So I figure it's mandatory if I want to be successful in life; economically speaking.
