  1. Capitals, they're getting some pretty good recruits lately if they can keep them all together!

  2. Answered that one right here:

    And this year too !!!!

  3. really, as long as the red wings keep winning who really cares?  lol. being a wings fan, the last team i want to see win anything are the maple laughs.

  4. EDIT: Dammit, I didn't read this stuff, so i made it who i'd like to see win it first.

    In this order:

    Buffalo Sabres

    Chicago Blackhawks

    Boston Bruins

    Washington Capitals

    Philadelphia Flyers

    Toronto Maple Leafs

    St. Louis Blues

    Vancouver Canucks

    Los Angeles Kings

Kings suck, I like it that way

Flyers, with their talent right now, will win first, if the opinion was made by looking at talent

  5. When in doubt, pick the team with the most money to spend.

That means Toronto and Philadelphia figure to be a contender at some point, although traditionally bad management for the Leafs hasn't helped their chances lately.

  6. The Philadelphia Flyers they have a strong team.

  7. Probably the Blackhawks, they've been bottom feeders for a while now and picked up some great talent along the way. Hopefully the Leafs will follow suit (hey, I can dream right).

  8. sabres.  I got a feeling their gonna be real good this year.

  9. BLACKHAWKS!!!! they built up on their young talent and hopefully it will shine next season and the seasons to come

  10. Th Chicago Blackhawks because they have the most young and exciting team in the N.H.L. Just need to get better goaltending. Go Hawks!!!!

  11. Capitals and Blackhawks will be the first. They have too much talent on both teams.

    The Flyers will follow.

  12. Flyers. I am predicting one Cup win in between 2010-2015

  13. Leafs. Just because I feel like being a biased Leafs homer. I think I'm allowed to by now...lol

  14. 1. Blackhawks

    2. Capitals

Why? Just look at the nine teams and you'll see the difference, they both have a lot of great young players who can help the teams right now.

  15. Blackhawks.

  16. This is a c**p shoot... but I'm going to say the Flyers have the best chance...

Two reasons: 1. they're young and should only get better - this years playoff run reminded me a lot of Anaheim in 2006, and we all know what the Ducks did in 2007... and 2. mostly because of the parity that exists in the Eastern Conference right now (and that might change fast).

Leafs, Blues, and Kings are at best, 1-2 years away from being playoff teams... Blackhawks, Canucks, Sabres, Bruins, and Capitals are boarderline playoff teams, but it would take a few upsets for them to get very deep...

  17. I'm going to have to say Washington Capitals. I'm sure this team will be alot strong than in the past. toronto is just going to suck. Chicago will have a very talented young team, but they don't have enough playoff experience to make it to the finals. St. Louis, I can't see a big improvement for them. Buffalo had a great team a couple years ago, but they've lost most of thier key players. Vancouver will be decent but i can't see them winning. pretty much the only reason they did so well last year was because of Luongo. and if Philadelphia becomes better as playing together, they will do well. they seem to have the right players, but the don't work to well together.

  18. Definitely Blackhawks! they have some great talent and i think their drought will end first!

Just like Sweety said Hopefully the leafs will be doing the same!

  19. Chicago and Philadelphia. Their players have finally woken up and realized they want that cup lol

  20. Philly

    Washington

    Vancouver

the Blackhawks might be great next year but i have seen the sophomore jinx happen to many times..They will be a force soon though.....if they can keep the team together

  21. Blackhawks or Bruins (depending on how well Patrice Bergeron plays upon his return) sorry but no time to explain, I have to prepare for an Algebra test, thanks for the 2 pts

  22. Bruins!! haha I have to say that...although with our new coaching staff and the fact were going in a new direction and have a great group of youngsters on our team. Not to mention the fact that in the past couple years the celtics, red sox, and patriots have won championships there is a lot of pressure on their shoulders to solidfy boston as the greatest sports town in the U.S. I think everyone underestimates them...I mean at look at this season most predicted that they would finish last and they ended up making it to game 7 in the first round of the stanley cup playoffs....

I think if not boston I would say Washington or Chicago..but I am pulling for Boston :)

  23. Washington Capitals made the playoffs with their young team and an undisputed superstar, theyre gonna be there soon. Followed by the BlackHawks and maybe the Leafs.

  24. Washington

  25. BlackHawks.. they seem to have a decent organization in place moving forward to the future. Its sad to think it took the death of their owner and his family taking over doing the right things to have them in the position that they sit in now. But reality is reality, they have quite a few of the pieces of the puzzle in place to make a run soon.

  26. Chicago.  It looks like they are finally getting the right pieces together and could make a good run in a few years.

  27. FLYERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! as long as Pittsburgh stops cheating and we get more puck moving defensive players.
