Star Cash Simon set to shine in Maidens Trophy (Heat 1)
Star Cash Simon is all set to show a sterling performance at Romford racecourse in an effort to finish first in the Coral On TV Maidens Trophy – Heat 1 that will be held tonight, May 28. The Open Race over the distance of 400 metres will commence at 19:26
(GMT).
The K. Boon-trained brindle dog seems to be quite confident to compete against Bower Teddy, Oscars Cobra, Millwards Impact, Dandy Dude and Pittsburgh Glory.
Since debuting on March 2, 2012, the two-year-old novice runner has been at the peak of form. After getting a runner-up position in his first outing, the dashing dog managed to break his maiden in the very next start on March 9.
The brilliant son of Kinloch Brae out of Starcash Gracie impressed all by winning with huge margin each of his last two races on May 19 and May 23. These two epic triumphs have boosted up the hound’s morale to a great extent.
Star Cash Simon has equally shown his guts on different forms of the game and at different venues. However, he is going to run at Romford for the very first time. Unfamiliarity with the track can go against him.
Come what may, the dog will be able to dominate his competitors convincingly. His chances to thrive will be as high as 93 percent.
Among the other hounds, Millwards Impact and Oscars Cobra are likely to perform well.
Millwards Impact excellently gained four consecutive runner-up ranks during March-April 2012. The P. Young-trained black dog moved on to win a race on May 2. After warming himself up with another runner-up position, the veteran sprinter finished first in
his last outing on May 23.
On the other hand, Oscars Cobra started his career with a terrific triumph on March 16, 2012. The J. Reynolds-trained black dog broke his maiden no later than May 12.
Thus, each one of these hounds will show fair resistance against Star Cash Simon. The competition will be close and rip-roaring. Let us enjoy the majestic action. Good luck to all the contestants.
